Long Stories Short
As an aspiring filmmaker, I felt that I at least needed to know how to use a camera. So, with a spark of curiosity, I decided the best way to master my camera was by diving into the stories of the creatives around me. I started reaching out to friends and acquaintances—musicians, painters, writers, makers—offering to document their story, their journey. The only catch was, I wanted to tell their story in roughly a minute. Just giving viewers a peek into their world and what sparks their constant drive to do what they do. Each interview became a learning experience, not just about framing shots or finding the right lighting, or navigating sound issues, but about capturing the soul of their passions.
